Welcome to a shared experience of the Field. In this workshop, Dr. Rohini Kanniganti offers poetry, inquiry and meditative stillness to guide you through Energy layers of Presence. There is no protocol that can teach presence with more potency than the lived experience of a connecting, breathing love in community. Our hope in this workshop is to support each participant to feel more established in the ground of their being so that they can be even more devoted and stable as guides for those experiencing expanded states of consciousness. Participants are deeply invited to offer their unique knowing and unfolding to weave into our collective Field.

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Rohini Kanniganti, MD, MSPH, HMDC (she/her) is a mother, physician, teacher, and poet — a living bridge between science and the sacred. Rooted in her Vedic ancestral lineage and a life of deep service, she offers presence as her primary transmission. As a “love radiator” and joyful Cheerleader of Self, I celebrate every layer of our being — physical and emotional body, breath, the ego’s innocent patterns, wisdom, laughter, and co-creativity with the Infinite.
Rohini is a Board Certified Family Physician, serving in Hospice and Integrative Psychiatry. She has been a Hospice and Palliative Care physician for over a decade, currently working with the Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care in NC and Trailwinds Hospice in Boulder, CO. She is a fellow of the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI, Boulder, CO), where she completed the Integrative Psychiatry Certification, Ketamine Provider Certification and the Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Program. She serves at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute as Faculty and Lead Physician for the Ketamine Experiential Program. Rohini is the Palliative Advisor for TheraPsil, Canada, and Faculty for the End of Life Psychedelic Care Program, and Relationship Resources in Woodstock NY, supporting the the Cultivating Joy Retreat series. She has been interviewed on "The Higher Practice Podcast", "TCN Talks”, “The Conscious Physician Podcast” and “Tromedy". She also has her own podcast series (with composer Claire Bigley), “The Sound and The Healing”, and a YouTube Channel (with Chaplain Mark Brown) called “Cultivating Grace”. She is a co-facilitator for an online spiritual community, “Cultivating Presence”. Rohini lives in Boulder, CO, finding joy in playfulness, creativity and nature.

This offering, a conversation between Regina and Rohini, builds on the beautiful tapestry of presence begun in Dr. Rohini Kanniganti's workshop "An Invitation to the Nectar Called Presence" by expanding on how the embodiment of Self, or presence, is at the core of IFS (Internal Family Systems) healing work. IFS is much more than "parts work"; parts work without Self presence is not IFS. The innate healing intelligence we refer to in medicine work is what is known as Self in IFS, and also Self is much more than that. Regina and Rohini expand on points introduced in the previous workshop by providing IFS framework and terminology to topics such as: embracing our own messiness; being aware of and working with our egos when they show up in medicine work; and understanding how both journeyers and sitters access healing through the sitter's intentional embodiment of Self energy.
Objectives:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Regina Wei, LMFT (she/they), is a Level 3 IFS trained Couples and Family Therapist with a post-graduate certification in Sex Therapy and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. Born and raised in a suburb of Seattle on the unceded ancestral lands of the Duwamish people, Regina is a second generation Chinese American who identifies as neurodiverse and queer; they acknowledge their privilege as a well-educated, fair-skinned, straight-passing individual.
The many years that Regina lived in Mongolia, China, Thailand, and Hawai'i fundamentally shaped how they move about in the world while also informing their approach to working with sacred plant medicines. Their Chinese ancestry and experiences living in non-Western (predominantly Buddhist) cultures provide a deep spiritual foundation that supports them in slowing down, staying connected with Nature, and prioritizing a collective/communal approach to healing.
Regina's background includes classroom teaching as well as practicing and teaching meditation, yoga, and energy healing. Their practice centers folx who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or neurodiverse and focuses on healing racial, intergenerational, sexual, and other traumas.

At Inanna Rising, we uphold a set of core values that define our ethical commitment to healing and transformation. Our community is dedicated to the following principles:
We believe in the power of integrated and collaborative care as the best practice for healing. This approach ensures that individuals seeking healing receive comprehensive and ethical care delivered by a dedicated team.
Continuous growth is essential. Clinicians within our community are committed to ongoing personal healing and professional development to stay at the forefront of field knowledge and treatment advancements.
At Inanna Rising we are committed to embrace and demonstrate in our lives and work, the indigenous value of reciprocity. This is a foundational value describing the mutual and respectful exchange of energy, care, and resources between humans, the land, animals, ancestors, and future generations. It recognizes that all beings are interconnected and that well-being depends on balance — giving back in proportion to what one receives. Every member of our community offers particular resources as a gratitude offering to each other, Inanna Rising, and the world.
We are dedicated to making evidenced-based care affordable, accessible, and culturally humble. Our goal is to provide high-quality care to all individuals, regardless of their life circumstances through our patient equity scholarship program.
We acknowledge our responsibility to honor and support indigenous communities who have cared for our land and medicines. We seek to address the immeasurable trauma and loss they have endured. Our member reparations endowment fund will pay out to an Indiginous non-profit each quarter.
We thrive as a community of diverse like-minded individuals with shared values who embrace and celebrate safety, intersectionality, courage, and each other. Together, we grow, learn, and support one another in our collective mission.
Open, honest, respectful, compassionate, non-reactive clear communication is fundamental in our interactions with each other and how we foster safety and loving kindness. We also bring this to those we serve, fostering trust and understanding.
Inanna Rising members recognize the importance of honoring the Earth's needs and commit to practices that restore and demonstrate gratitude to our planet. We also acknowledge and support the growing concern and mobilization around climate distress as a critical endeavor for the well-being of our planet and future generations. By advocating for sustainable practices, reducing our carbon footprint, and supporting policies that prioritize environmental conservation and those most affected, we contribute to the global effort to address climate distress and work towards a more resilient and sustainable future for all.
We are committed to advocacy efforts not only in healthcare but also in dismantling oppressive systems and addressing global issues. This includes raising funds for our scholarship and reparation funds.
By fostering an intentional community guided by these values, we aim to manifest the sacred and mysterious within and between us, catalyzing healing that extends beyond our community to support global efforts.
We embrace diversity, welcoming individuals of all genders, races, religions, ages, abilities, and sexual orientations within our community.
We celebrate all traditions and wisdom paths that uplift consciousness, honor love, and cherish mystical states that connect us with the Divine.
At Inanna Rising we believe in creating a therapeutic environment that prioritizes safety, well-being, and informed choices for all participants. Harm reduction is not just a principle; it is a commitment to minimizing potential risks while maximizing the therapeutic benefits of these transformative experiences.

Are you considering joining Inanna Rising's community of dedicated professionals? Here are some frequently asked questions to help you better understand our commitment to ethical healing and support:
If you're a licensed psychotherapist or medical prescriber, you'll need to be enrolled in a PAT (Psychedelic Assisted Therapy) training program or prepared to begin one. Referrals are granted after completing at least a basic training course in the relevant medicines.
Inanna Rising does not provide medical evaluations, preparation, or integration sessions. Our staff supports your clinical work by connecting you with excellent fellow member clinicians, offering continuing education, and providing a supportive community.
As an ARNP (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner), to be included on our member medical referral list, you must be licensed in a state that grants full practice authority and/or allows you to conduct medical evaluations and follow-ups on all your PAT patients.
At Inanna Rising, our core belief is centered on making healing accessible to every individual in need. To turn this belief into action, we are dedicated to raising funds for patients who may face financial barriers to treatment. Our commitment goes further as we strive to acknowledge and honor the indigenous communities that have safeguarded these healing medicines throughout history.
Indigenous Reparation Fund: Our reparation fund plays a pivotal role in our mission. It donates on a quarterly basis, directing its support towards various indigenous non-profit organizations. This initiative represents our collective effort to give back to the communities that have cared for the land and these sacred medicines, often without acknowledgment or compensation. Net proceeds from our membership fees goes into our Indigenous Reparation Fund.
Community and Board Engagement: Every member of our community, including board members, actively participates in reaching out to potential donors. Through regular contributions, we cultivate and grow these funds. This collective effort ensures that the resources become available to both clients seeking healing and organizations striving to make a positive impact. 100% of our scholarship donations goes to underserved and underrepresented patient care.
By coming together as a community, we aim to bridge gaps in accessibility and foster a spirit of recognition and gratitude. Our mission is to create a more equitable and compassionate world, one healing journey at a time.

Our name draws inspiration from Inanna, the Mesopotamian goddess symbolizing love, fertility, wisdom, and justice. Inanna represents the archetype of the Sacred Feminine, embodying feminine energy and wisdom.
